New Music Release: Josh Gillespie Covers Toad the Wet Sprocket’s “Fall Down”

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you!
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Toad the Wet Sprocket’s legendary album Dulcinea, I’ve created a unique cover of their hit single “Fall Down.” This song has always held a special place in my heart and I’m honored to give it new life with my own interpretation.
About the Cover
When Dulcinea was released in 1994, it became an instant classic for me. I was hooked the moment I heard “Fall Down” on the radio. Now, three decades later, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to reimagine this song in a way that stays true to the spirit of the original while adding my own musical flair. The result is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Collaborating with Talented Artists
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing contributions of Joni Fuller and Josh Daubin. Joni’s beautiful string arrangements have added a rich, emotional layer to the track, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with her before on my debut album Make Something Happen Here. Her work has been featured in some incredible projects, including BBC One’s Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster and the film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Josh Daubin, who was Toad the Wet Sprocket’s touring drummer from 2020 to 2023, brought his incredible talent to this project, lending a fresh energy to the drums while honoring the original feel of the song. Working with both Joni and Josh has been an absolute highlight of my career.
